Flutist Hubert Laws latest release is a wide-ranging exhibit of his talent and taste, with both in prime form.

From a Spanish-tinged cover of the traditional "La Malagueña" to three jazz originals to jazz-colored arrangements of Chopin's "Valese" and Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata," Laws consistently blends structure and improvisation into a very personalized musical message.
