New age label Narada presents a second installment of acoustic and electronic performances of traditional Christmas music, including little-known (by popular standards) classical pieces.
Artists featured here include Ira Stein, Peter Buffett, Spencer Brewer and Doug Cameron. Songs include a compositions by Mendelssohn and folk songs from a half-dozen countries, along with more recent, but just as traditional, tunes.
More polished, more ambitious and more accomplished than Narada's first volume of Christmas music, this is one of the best collections of traditional songs out there.
