A beautiful Christmas album, "On This Day Earth Shall Sing" features various folk artists from the Flying Fish label.

Anne Hills, Shinobu Sato, Cindy Mangsen, Fred Campeau, Jim Craig and Stuart Rosenberg perform acoustic renditions of a dozen and a half traditional holiday songs.

This excellent recording captures a Midwestern rural Christmas feeling, and will lend any gathering as much atmosphere as a roaring fire and spiced cider.
